
The U.S. Forest Service Pacific Northwest Research Station, in partnership with the American Conservation Experience, is seeking qualified applicants for a Hydrological Research Support Member position. This collaborative partnership supports long‑term hydrological research at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest, including installation, maintenance, and operation of hydrologic instrumentation as well as collection of water quality samples, and field data collection during synoptic sampling campaigns.
The 18‑week position offers full‑time employment along with structured training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. It is well suited for individuals currently pursuing or with an undergraduate degree in hydrology, watershed science, geosciences, or natural resources and is interested in science to support land management decision-making. The position includes housing at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest and limited relocation assistance.
