This position will work with the LTER program at the H. J. Andrews Experimental Forest to help address questions related to how species interactions amplify or reduce responses to microclimate. The technician will lead a field crew in implementing a large-scale field experiment involving seedlings of canopy tree species, mosses, and fungal associates of plants along a 1,000 m elevational gradient in the Western Cascade Mountains of Oregon.
