ArtSci Student Fellowship Mentors Wanted

Monday, March 28, 2022

Become a science or art mentor for the new ArtSci Student Fellowship: In spring term, the ArtSci group at OSU will be launching an ArtSci Student Fellowship. This year-long fellowship will provide six undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to explore the intersection of the arts and sciences and to develop a creative project informed by active engagement in lab or field research.

The ArtSci group is looking for Andrews Forest researchers and artists who might be interested in mentoring a student fellow. Science mentors will be asked to create opportunities for a student fellow to be involved in their lab or fieldwork. Art mentors will consult with a student fellow as they develop their project. Mentors will attend a one-hour orientation and meet with their student fellow at least once a month.

Mentors should be at a place in their careers where they could provide guidance about their expertise. They do not need to be affiliated with OSU.  To learn more, contact Carly Lettero
