Exotic aphids in Oregon

The first step in any effort to understand the biodiversity of anarea is to catalog the species present. Accordingly, a concerted efforthas been made to update the knowledge about the diversity ofOregon aphids. To date, 241 species have been identified in Oregonalone. Most feed on a specific host plant, whereas some feed, onseveral species of plants. Some species are pests of crop or orna-mental plants, but most live on native plants and/or introducedweeds.
