Numerous plant species native tothe area appear to be suitable hosts, the oaks andPacific madrone being particularly susceptible.Damage potential is highest in the interior valleysand surrounding foothills, with damage to coniferspecies likely limited to those growing in mixedstands with broadleaf hosts such as oaks, madrone, andalder.
