Precipitation, soil, and xylem water-isotope data from various pools throughout H.J. Andrews Watershed 10, 2004-2006

DB Code:
HF030
Abstract:

We have included the water isotope data for xylem from Douglas fir and Western hemlock trees, associated soil water isotope data from 10, 20,30, 50 and 100 cm depth, as well as precipitation and stream water isotope data. The data was collected between 2004 and 2006 at the permanent vegetation plots located throughout WS10. All water isotopes were analyzed at the Integrated Stable Isotope Research Facility (ISIRF) located at the Pacific Ecological Systems Division of the EPA located in Corvallis Oregon. Data were collected in accordance with SOPs generated by the ISIRF.

Study date:
June 28, 2004 to December 30, 2006
Researchers:

Purpose:

To sample soil and tree xylem water at several locations across the watershed to capture the variability within the watershed and ultimately correlate the data with catchment geology or other hydrologic indices already established for WS10.
