Friday, January 11, 9 AM – 11 AM, in Richardson Hall, Room 107 (note room change!).   

9am - Science Hour – a set of 3 short talks: “Perspectives from selected ecosystem models on dynamic processes at the H.J. Andrews”

2. Linnia Hawkins, CEOAS, OSU

3. Yueyang Jiang, post-doc in FES, OSU “Linking tree physiological constraints with predictions of carbon and water fluxes for the Wind River old-growth forest”

Additional topics and discussion will follow.

Monthly meetings are used to share science, news, and opportunities related to the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest and Long-Term Ecological Research program. We start with a science hour and then move into program news and announcements. Anyone is welcome to attend. Monthly meetings are on the first Friday of the month during the academic year, from 9 AM - 11 AM. The next few meetings will be February 1, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7.
