Table 1. Weather conditions during the flood at three HJA weather stations representing low, mid, and high elevations. The Primary Station is at 1,430 ft. (436 m), Hi-15 at 3,025 ft. (922 m), and Upper Lookout Station is at 4,250 ft. (1300 m) elevation. Air temperatures (ºC) were taken at a height of 4.5 m above ground surface and soil temperatures at a depth of 10 cm. An estimate of 1.25 inches (32 mm) snowmelt at the Primary Station was made using snow core depth measurements.
