                    shotty loam; moderate, fine to medium 
                    granular structure; firm when moist, slightly 
                    sticky and nonplastic when wet; 40% andesite 
                    gravel and cobbles, 25% shot; clear and wavy 
                    boundary.

AC  5 - 14 in.      Very dark grayish brown (10YR3/2) when moist 
                    shotty clay loam; strong, fine to coarse 
                    granular structure; firm when moist, sticky 
                    and slightly plastic when wet; 25% andesite 
                    fragments, 20% shot; abrupt and irregular 
                    boundary.

C  14 - 36 in.      Dark  yellowish brown (10YR3/4) when moist 
                    stony clay loam; weak, medium angular blocky
