                    loam; moderate, fine to medium granular 
                    structure; friable when moist, slightly 
                    sticky and slightly plastic when wet; 40% 
                    shot; abrupt and irregular boundary.

AC  4 - 17 in.      Dark  brown (10YR3/3) when moist shotty clay 
                    loam; strong, fine to medium granular 
                    structure; firm when moist, slightly sticky 
                    and slightly plastic when wet; 25% shot; 
                    abrupt and wavy boundary.

C  17 - 31 in.      Brown (10YR4/3) when moist clay loam; 
                    moderate, fine to medium subangular blocky 
                    structure; friable when moist, sticky and 
                    plastic and smeary when wet; 5% stones, thin
