                    slightly hard when dry, friable when moist, 
                    nonsticky and nonplastic when wet; 10% shot; 
                    abundant fine, medium and coarse roots; clear 
                    and smooth boundary.

A2  2 - 8 in.       Dark  yellowish brown (10YR3/4) when moist 
                    shotty loam; weak, fine subangular blocky
