A  0 - 11 in.       Dark brown (7.5YR3/2) when moist loam; 
                    strong, fine granular structure; very friable 
                    when moist, nonsticky and nonplastic and 
                    smeary when wet; abundant fine, few medium 
                    and coarse roots; clear and wavy boundary.

B  11 - 25 in.      Dark brown (7.5YR3/3) when moist heavy loam; 
                    weak, fine subangular blocky breaking to 
                    moderate, coarse granular structure; very 
                    friable when moist, nonsticky and nonplastic 
                    and smeary when wet; 3% gravel; abundant 
                    fine, common medium and coarse roots; gradual 
                    and wavy boundary.
