                    loam; strong, fine granular structure; very 
                    friable when moist, nonsticky and nonplastic 
                    when wet; 10% shot; common fine and medium, 
                    common coarse roots; clear and smooth 
                    boundary.

A12  1 - 16 in.     Dark brown (7.5YR3/2) when moist silt loam; 
                    strong, coarse granular structure; slightly 
                    hard when dry, very friable when moist,
