A  0 - 2 in.         Gravelly loam; weak, fine to medium granular 
                    structure; very friable and fluffy when 
                    moist, slightly sticky and nonplastic when 
                    wet; 20% gravel and cobbles,common pumice; 
                    abundant roots.

AC  2 - 20+ in.     Matrix of dark  brown (10YR3/3)  and mottles 
                    of dark grayish brown (10YR4/2) when moist 
                    stony loam; weak, medium subangular blocky 
                    breaking to weak, fine granular structure; 
                    very friable and fluffy when moist, slightly 
                    sticky and nonplastic when wet; 25% andesite 
                    stones, some pumice; common roots.
