A1  0 - 5 in.       Very dark brown (7.5YR2/2) when moist 
                    gravelly sandy loam; single grain structure; 
                    loose when dry, very friable when moist, 
                    nonsticky and nonplastic when wet; 90% 
                    gravel; clear and smooth boundary.

AC  5 - 28 in.      Reddish brown (5YR4/3) when dry, dark brown 
                    (7.5YR3/2) when moist gravelly loam; strong, 
                    medium to coarse granular structure; slightly 
                    hard when dry, sticky and slightly plastic 
                    when wet; 50% gravel; abrupt and wavy 
                    boundary.
