A  0 - 4 in.        Dark  yellowish brown (10YR3/4) when moist 
                    sandy loam; weak, granular, structure; very 
                    friable and fluffy when moist, slightly 
                    sticky and nonplastic when wet; 15% fine 
                    gravel; abundant  roots.

B  4 - 12 in.       Matrix of brown (10YR4/3)  and mottles of 
                    dark brown (7.5YR3/2) when moist sandy loam; 
                    weak, subangular blocky, structure; fluffy 
                    when moist, slightly sticky and nonplastic 
                    when wet; 1/2 lite and 1/2 dark color; 
                    abundant  roots.
