                    brown (5YR3/2) when moist shotty loam; 
                    moderate, medium granular structure; slightly 
                    hard when dry, very friable when moist, 
                    nonsticky and nonplastic when wet; 30% shot; 
                    abundant fine, medium, and coarse  roots; 
                    clear and wavy boundary.

AB  4 - 14 in.      Brown (7.5YR4/4) when moist heavy silt loam; 
                    weak, medium subangular blocky structure;
